Upheaval in Italy
Emboldened by recent Italian successes in the field, General Barrigus Andronicus seizes power in early December, giving the following statement:
“In this time of great upheaval throughout the land, the Italian people have seen it prudent to reach back into their past and, like the mighty Roman Empire, elect a Magister Populi to lead them. General Barrigus Andronicus has reluctantly taken on this mantle and wishes for nothing more than stability in peace in our days so that he may retire as an old man in the country raising wheat and a family.”
The Italian King retires to his estate in Tuscany to spend more time with his family.
